Wake Up with 15sixty

Our team at 15sixty is dedicated to practicing “waking up” in our lives, and helping other leaders do the same. To us this means creating awareness of what’s driving our behavior, what’s keeping us stuck, and what’s in the way of us living and working with more ease and joy in our lives.

The best way we know how to help explain this with more clarity is by creating opportunities for you to experience it for yourself.

In that spirit, we’re excited to host 15sixty “wake up workshops." A “wake up workshop” is a three-hour introductory session where we’ll share a bit about our practices and then put them to work. All participants will have an opportunity to take a good look at a challenge they’re facing in their lives, and use the practices to begin seeing it in a new light.

Topics we’ll explore together include:

  • How we’re hardwired as human beings to create drama at work, and in our everyday lives

  • Basic neuroscience principles that explain how we naturally sacrifice our creative potential

  • Our defensive tendencies to blame, withdraw, numb-out and feel powerless when our ego feels threatened

  • The four-step 15sixty process, and how it can be used to end our drama with our teams, colleagues, friends, and families.

Come prepared to get messy and learn a ton.

To prepare for our session, please identify a real-life issue or event you are currently struggling with. It can be as small as being bothered by a colleague who is regularly late to meetings, or as large as a major unexpected life event. Regardless, pick an issue or event that involves another person or persons, and one that has some charge to it. These issues can be about work or about your personal life. You’ll be sharing some elements of your issue with others in the workshop, so bring an issue you’ll be somewhat comfortable talking about openly.

This session is a lot of fun, and if you’re willing, you’ll leave having learned something new about yourself.

Justine at Salesforce describes it best:

“The 15sixty coaching model has impacted my relationships with colleagues, friends, and family but mainly helped me change the relationship I had with myself.”
